of the International Martial Arts Medal of Merit are nominated by past nominees, Legion of Merit Ambassadors, UTA schools and clubs who are members of the Medal of Merit World Alliance, and registered black belts with the Medal of Merit World Alliance.

To nominate a recipient for an International Martial Arts Medal of Merit, you MUST be a UTA School/Club Owner AND a member of the Medal of Merit organization, a past Medal of Merit nominee or recipient, a Legion of Merit Ambassador, or a black belt registered with the Medal of Merit organization.
