Grandmaster Benny Broadway – McKinney, TX
Recently promoted to the rank of 9th Degree black belt, Grandmaster Broadway has been instrumental in helping grow several organizations, many of which are still in formation today. He has served on many Taekwono-Do teams, coached and instructed hundreds of students and instructors, whom many are still active today. With more than forty years of training and teaching experience, Grandmaster Broadway has played a valuable part of the martial arts community and leaves a legacy for many more to follow.

Master John Drew – McKinney, TX – Master John Drew is a 7th Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 6th Degree black belt in Kung Fu, a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a practitioner in Kali stick and knife fighting. He holds rank in several other martial arts. Master Drew has been training for over 40 years and has won numerous state and national titles. He has been selected as Instructor of the Year, School of the Year and was honored to be recognized with the Way of the Warrior. He traveled to Moscow, Russia, in 1993 to compete in the GTF World championships and to Korea multiple times to train at both the Kukkiwon and Yong-In University. He is a former US National Tae Kwon Do Team coach for multiple years for both youth and adult teams. Master Drew is a retired Louisiana Law Enforcement officer with over 20 years of experience, including 17 years on SWAT Special Response Team and Hostage Rescue Team. He has also worked with and trained officers from multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies. Master Drew was an integral part of the Search and Rescue teams after the World Trade Center attacks in 2001, Hurricane Katrina of 2005, and Hurricane Rita. He is currently on a standby disaster and recovery team. Master Drew continues his law enforcement career today as a Training Supervisor for the State of Texas. He trains officers daily and is fully committed to sharing his martial arts knowledge, first-hand experience of real-world self-defense, and the practicality of the law.

Mrs. Alison Drew – McKinney, TX – Mrs. Allison Drew is a 5th Degree Black Belt and has been training for over 32 years. Together with Master John Drew, they have won Instructor of the Year, School of the Year, and Demo Team Awards for many years. Mrs. Drew has won numerous Regional and National awards. In 1995, she was a US Team Member at the Goodwill Games in Cancun, Mexico.  In 1997, she returned to the Goodwill Games and earned a gold medal in sparring. Also, in that same year, she competed in the GTF World Championships in St. Louis, MO, and placed 1st in sparring, receiving he gold medal from Grandmaster Park Jung Tae. In 1998, she began training in kickboxing and was an amateur kickboxer for several years. In 2002 she was the Co-Captain of the US Women’s Team that fought in Toronto, Canada, at the GTF International Championships. The team placed 2nd in forms and 1st in sparring. Competing individually, she received 2nd place in sparring and 3rd place in patterns. In 2011 Mrs. Drew competed in the UTA International Goodwill Championships in Tulsa, OK, and received 2nd place in forms and 2st place in sparring. She was a member of the Board of Directors and the Chief Information Officer of the United States Taekwondo Foundation. She continues to train and inspire. She is a Lady of Taekwondo and we look forward to continued service of helping others.

Mr. Dave Johnson – Indianapolis, IN – At 67 years young, Mr. Dave Johnson continues to actively train in the martial arts daily. With over 45 years of continued practice in martial arts he is one of the most humble men you will ever meet. He holds black belts in Taekwondo, Karate, Aikido and Judo. He has lived a life of patriotism by serving his community in emergency management as a first responder, serving as a firefighter, EMT and paramedic for more than 40 years.
